2. What the App is (and is not)

• The App is a personal journaling and analytics tool for recording and reviewing your own trading activity.
• The App is not a broker, not an exchange, not an investment advisor, and provides no financial advice. Nothing in the App (statistics, “edge check”, stop-rule warnings) is a recommendation to trade any instrument.
• The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broker, exchange or trading platform. Broker or product names you type in are your own records. Nothing in the App is financial advice.
• Stop-rule and balance warnings are informational only — the App cannot and does not place, modify, or cancel any order.

3. Trading risk & your responsibility

• Trading — especially binary/digital options and leveraged margin products — carries a high risk of losing money. Most retail traders lose money. You trade entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for your decisions and outcomes.
• You are responsible for ensuring that using such products is legal in your jurisdiction (binary options are restricted or banned in several regions, including for retail clients in the EEA/UK).
• Journal statistics describe past performance, which does not guarantee future results.
• You are responsible for keeping backups of data that matters to you (use the built-in CSV/JSON export). Sync and storage are provided as-is.

4. License & acceptable use

• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
• You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt its hosting or other users’ data, or use it for anything unlawful.
• You retain all rights to the data you enter; you grant us only the technical processing needed to store and sync it as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

• Sign-in is provided via Google (Firebase Authentication). You are responsible for the security of your Google account.
• We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time. Because your data is always exportable, discontinuation does not lock you in.

6. Disclaimers — the App is provided “as is”

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Calculations (win rates, profit factor, break-even, balances, stop warnings) are indicative and may contain errors — verify anything material independently.
• The App may be unavailable; data may be delayed, corrupted, or lost. Keep your own backups.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities — arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the App (zero) or the minimum allowed by law.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by BeanBytes Studio (owner: Jaun-Jacques Nienaber). Your journal content remains yours.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always posted at this URL. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

The App is offered online worldwide. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, where BeanBytes Studio is based. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country you live in.

11. Payments & refunds

Pro is sold by BeanBytes Studio as Monthly (R59), Yearly (R449) or Lifetime (R1,199) plans, paid through a third-party payment provider. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the paid period. If Pro does not work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
